ACTIVITIES AROUND YOUR HOLIDAY HOME ON HVAR

At our house, you are spoilt for choice, and every day offers the opportunity to experience something new. We have snorkeling great, sailboards, paddleboards, kayaks, sailboats, bicycles ... and even a custom Hvar climbing guide to help you explore it all. A family holiday, a romantic break, or a group adventure with friends: Your island adventure calls!

ON (AND UNDER) THE WATER ON! SWIMMING AND WATER SPORTS
On the Adriatic Sea coast... on the Hvar beach - it’s not just the fish that are seldom on land. Water rats and bathing belles are in their element on Hvar beach. And what’s more, it's right on the doorstep. Just a five-minute walk away. So why not nip down to the beach early in the morning and leap head-first into the refreshing water? Here you can swim in genuine Adriatic Sea water. Which, of course, is lovely and warm. You’ll have loads of fun kite- and sailing and fishing and diving into deep sea and dicover wonder of nature.

WALKING AND RUNNING
Tie those laces a little tighter... Take a deep breath... And off we go! The saltwater air doesn’t just do wonders for city lungs, it also invigorates all the senses and drives you on.
To go for early-morning runs on trails among ancient olives, to be one with the island’s natural world. To hike to Sv. Nikola peak, to discover ancient villages and meandering trails on top of rock walls. There is too much to chose from and too much to name.

EXPLORING HVAR ON BICYCLE
From north to south… or straight across… on the asphalt, or on the rough track to the unexplored horizon where there is not a car in sight. Hvar has more than 200km of bicycle trails and an endless list of places to explore. We have the bicycles to explore them with, including both bicycles for your children, and bicycle seats for your toddlers.

FLORA AND FAUNA NATURAL EXPERIENCES
It's lovely to be nearby... but even better to be in the heart of things. Hvar is a natural paradise that you can enjoy to the fullest at Hana’s house. You’ll be bathed by the perfume of wild rosemary, lavender and bay, and the only sounds you’ll hear are the early morning calling of pheasant and grouse, and the Mediterranean sounds of the cicadas in the evening. And when you want, you can go further afield, to the end of Kabal, or diving into the crystalline waters ...

CHILDREN, CHILDREN HVAR FOR LITTLE ONES
Ahoy, little pirates... Hello, you little mermaids... We’re off on an adventure, you explorers... Boredom? There’s no time for that on a family holiday on Hvar. Because little whirlwinds want to have a whale of a time on holiday, the island has come up with a few ideas like the on-water bouncy castles in Stari Grad and Jelsa, and the playgrounds, trampolines, and ice cream shops there. But your kids will have more fun playing in the abandoned village of Mala Rudina, which will be theirs, and only theirs. We have toys and Legos, children’s bikes, snorkeling gear, water guns ... and yes, a TVD with kiddie DVDs too. Children can play in complete freedom at Hana’s House.
